Hello everyone again...so since last time actually not much has changed, the main thing is I had another baby, a boy, Hudson Michael, he was born August 6, 2010, weighed 8lbs 4oz and was 21ins long and Cristian 3 1/2 years old now, 4 in April which is right around the corner and he absolutely adores his baby brother. John and I are not together anymore, we parted ways shortly after I got pregnant with Hudson and hasn't been around much at all since then either. Things are great though with me and the boys, it just us three! I do have to say being a single mom of 2 is definitely different from being a single mom of 1...LOL (but it's great and I love it, wouldn't change a thing)! Hudson is 6 1/2 months old now, he is so BIG, he just laughs and giggles all the time, VERY happy baby, but I'm quite silly myself so it only makes sense that he would be a happy baby and Cristian was the same way when he was a baby. I am still with CHKD and I am very happy. No new someone since John but that's actually how I prefer it, it is a big change though because I've always had to be with someone all the time and now I honestly just feel I don't have the time for anyone else in my life right now. Plus I kind of have a lot going on with Hudson right now, he's actually had it pretty rough the 6 months he's been alive...we've ear infection after ear infection, finally had to have tubes put in then at the same time had bilateral inguinal hernias repaired and he was hospitalized for RSV after Thanksgiving and we do physical therapy once a week because he has torticollis and his WBCs went below normal so then we thought he might have a blood disorder but it's looking like he will probably grow out of it, we just have to have blood work done twice a week for 6 weeks and then we will go from there but let me tell he is a very strong little boy and I admire him so much because at the end of the day after everything we've been through and I've put him through he can still smile and laugh about it with his mommy! As for Cristian he is blooming up into a little boy so great, he's just turning into his own little person but you know that saying, "kids say the darndest things..." it is so true with him...just other night we were all laying in bed just hanging out like usual and he looked at me and then looked at Hudson and said "mommy what's him...he's Hudson Michael?" and I said "Yes Cristian he is!" So that's the update for now more again later...
Until next time...

Transitioning...Not exactly FUN!!!
When you have children you have to learn to transition your child or children to different stages as they get older...well as a lot of you know I have a 2yr old little boy and we were lucky because I got to bypass the whole pacifier stage, he just wouldn't take one, thank the Lord, so he had a bottle up until he was one year old, as soon as he turned 1 I took the bottle and he used a cup, that was easy. Then he was in an infant seat from the time he was born up until he was about 10 1/2-11 months old then I transitioned him into an infant/ toddler seat, where it looks like a regular carseat only the baby still has to sit facing the rear until they're 1 year old AND 20 lbs or more so when Cristian was 1 we turned his seat around to facing forward and he was much happier because now he could see everything that was going on-so that was easy too. Now, Cristian is 2 years old and we are trying to potty train, not so easy, I bought him lil boys underwear with Elmo on them (he loves Elmo) so I figured he'd want to wear them and he hates to be messy or wet so I also figured if he peed on himself enough times that he get the idea that he needed to tell someone, NO not exactly he'd pee on my carpet then tell someone he peed on the carpet and I bought him a training potty and I put his name on it with stickers and some Elmo stickers again I figured he'd like it, which he does he just doesn't understand the concept yet but we're working on it...NOT SO EASY! Another thing, yesterday we turned his crib into a toddler bed. He figured out how to climb out his crib about a month ago, so I had my dad lower his mattress and I thought we were good to go, NO, Cristian figured out how to get out that way too, plus he's been sleeping in my bed for about a month now, every night because I can't get him to stay in his bed. So yesterday we took the front rail off and put on the guardrail, so now he has big boy bed, but of course he doesn't care...ARGGGHHHHHHHH! So again NOT SO EASY! So I'll keep you updated on our progress but if anybody has any suggestions on how to help us with these particular transitions, I'd really appreciate it!!!
Until next time...

Birthday FUN!
So this past weekend was Cristian's 2nd birthday. It was FANTASTIC, we had a big birthday party at my house for him. We had a few finger foods, made hot dogs on the grill and of course had cake and ice cream. The cake was Elmo or as Cristian would say "MELMO"...lol! Alot people showed up, friends and family and we got a big blow up thing for the kids to run through and jump in, they had a blast. And it was beautiful day, the kids got a little sun, so we had to break out the sunblock. We opened presents outside in the gazebo. It just turned out really nice! I am definietly glad birthdays only happen once a year, by the time it was all over I was eghausted.John stayed with us that night and we were all worn out even into Sunday. we got up and Me, John and Cristian met Jackie at Shoney's for breakfast, got home about 12:30 and we all laid down and didn't wake up until 4:30 even Cristian slept that long too, I was really surprised! Of course now I think I 'm coming down with something, I had a little bit of a fever yesterday and still even today my throat is scratchy, hoepfully it doesn't get any worse than this and hopefully Cristian doesn't catch!

Happy Birthday to me!!!
Yesterday was my 24th birthday, it was fricken awesome! We all went to Plaza for dinner and had a great time, had a few drinks, mingled with my friends and family, and John bought me some yellow tulips in a vase (they're my fave) and wrote me a poem for my birthday, it was genuine sweet! You can always tell who your REAL friends are when your birthday rolls around. You may not speak to them on a regular basis but they always show up or call for important events. But it was a fun night!!!
Cristian got his cast off yesterday, thank God! I wish and never hope anyone's children ever has to have a cast and I feel for those of who have had children who's had a cast. It is absolute torture especially when it comes to taking a bath. Cristian screamed bloody murder the whole time, never again! Now he's happy as clam, just nobody can touch his boo-boo...lol!

My poor little baby boy!
So my sweet boy had the second surgery on his other big toe for ingrown toenails this past Thursday. He had the first surgery February 5th, and that one healed just fine, but last time he kept pulling the bandages off so this time the doctor put a cast on his leg all the way up to his knee. He didn't handle the waking up after the surgery as well as he did last time. So we just ket him nap for as long as he wanted afterwards and then once he got up and the knumbing blocker wore off, I tried to get him to walk and he wanted nothing to do with that at the time but by the end of the night he was walking just fine and then by Friday he was trying to run and let me tell you it was the funniest thing. Now he's just fine, walking, running, playing outside in the dirt and everything. He'll get the cast cut off this Thursday and hopefully his toe will have healed a little bit. The worst part about this surgery this time around other than the cast being put on, is giving him a bath, OMGosh it was absolutely horrible and heartbreaking. We had to wrap his leg in 3 plastic bags and could not put any water in the tub, he had to lay in an empty tub with just the faucet running, he was cold and very pissed off. So yea I have to put him thru that atleast til Thursday.
This weekend was fricken AWESOME! We got Busch and Water Country season passes already and me and my aunt took Cristian to Busch on Friday and he had a blast, the new Sesame Street part of the park had just opened so we spent majority the whole time in there, rode some baby rides and watched Elmo and friends sing and dance, it was GREAT! Cristian absolutely loved it. It's great because he'll be 2 on the 18th and now he's old enough that he can actually enjoy those kind of things. Last year he was old enough for Water Country and we took him almost every Saturday that was good. Now we can do both parks and actually get my moneys worth! This will definetly be a great summer!
Until next time...XOXO

Just a lil laugh!!!
If you love something set it free. If it comes back, it was always yours. If it doesn’t comeback it was never yours to begin with.
But, if it sits in your living room, messes up your stuff, eats you food, uses your telephone, takes your money, and doesn’t appear to realize that you had set it free……You either married it or gave birth to it!
Just a lil something for you to think about and laugh about!
Until next time...XOXO

Just today...
Happy 1st Birthday Madi!
It's so funny because majority of us went to high school together and most of us met in the 9th grade and now some of us are getting married, already married and or having kids! It's just weird how time flies and how fast. We were all just hanging out, having a great time in high school and now we're watching each others' children grow up!
St Patrick's Day, my mom turned the big 4-0, so this weekend we are throwing a BIG birthday party for her at my house. It was suppose to be a SURPRISE but we just ended up telling her about it, that way she's better prepared. So I'll let you know how things end up!
Don't have very much to say, so I guess until time...
